US Bank - Multi-product Cash Offer Tracker

The task: Design a user flow that will offer more value to our US Bank customers through higher interest rates on select accounts and bring in new deposits to US Bank.

US Bank needed to design an incentive offer for our customers giving them the ability to move from a low interest rate account to a higher interest account. The idea was to both upsell to a better interest rate account while also bringing in new money for a set time period.

The challenge:
The US Bank wanted to design a system that offered a path for long time customers who had only a basic Savings or Money Market account, the chance to move to a much higher interest rate account.

The main goal was to bring in new money by requiring the customer to deposit an certain amount of money on sliding scale that would generate a higher interest rate for the customer if they retained the amount in their Savings or MMA for a required amount of time.

One of the main ideas identified was that a customer would be more inclined to participate if they could actually see and change their results realtime in an online calculator. It also had to be responsive ready for mobile, tablet and desktop.

The interactive calculator allows the user to see the results of the offer when deposting money with a new interest rate.

The charts under the calculator were populated with realtime, dynamic interest rates that were browser reader capable.
All 3 platforms of mobile, tablet, desktop were targeted as usual but with special attention to accessibility.
Account landing screens include notifications leading to the landing page of the offer which includes the calculator.
